Multi-hyphenate Dana Salzman creates funky, flavorful tunes that explore the dimensions of human emotion and re-imagine jazz, funk, hip-hop, soul, Latin and R&B. A graduate of the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City, Salzman has performed with many celebrated musicians at notable venues like S.O.B.s and Joe’s Pub in New York City, Yoshi’s Oakland, Slim’s SF, and overseas at Duc De Lombard in Paris, the Reduta in Prague, and L’Archduc in Brussels. Now based in Oakland, Salzman has released four solo albums available on all platforms and is working on her fifth to be released in 2025.
