The “Gingerbread 5K/Kids 1 Mile” is a fundraiser to benefit Marines Toys 4 Tots because of the number of people in need during the holiday.
We are building a donation for the Marines Toys for Tots in the local Phoenix area. (But we ARE NOT collecting toys). You can request a toy or donate directly at Phoenix Toys for Tots.
The race is a fun, family run/walk on a beautiful Saturday morning with all ages and ability levels welcome!
Early registration is $30 for the 5K, $20 for the Kids 1 Mile (Prices increase $5 on11/30). Limited to 200 runners.
All finishers get a Gingerbread medal and lapel pin! Your bib, wristband, snacks and raffle entry are all included! No packet pickup is necessary!
This will be a medal only race, no shirts this time.
Race day check in starts from 7:30 - 8:45 am. The 5K starts at 9:00 am and is chip timed with age group awards in 14 categories. Water, snacks and popsicles will be provided.
The flat course follows the canal and is located at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018 with parking located at the Lutheran church, just North of the park off 56th Street.
Kids 1 Mile Run (live race only): Check in between 9 - 9:45 am. Start time will be 10 am. Kids may run 1 mile or less to earn their choice of medal and special treat at the finish. (No timing or awards) **Parents may run with their child for free or register to receive a medal. We have removed the age restriction for this race.
