Fremont's annual Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot hosts several options for you to prep for your Thanksgiving Day feasts, including a 1-mile walk, and both a 2-mile and 5-mile run! Whether you're looking to crush a fast time on a PR-friendly course or have a great and fun time with the family, we've got something in store for everyone! We can't wait to start our Thanksgiving with you!
The day starts at the Fremont Family YMCA with the 5-mile race at 8:30 am, followed by the 2-mile run and 1-mile walk at 8:35 am. Both the 2-mile and 5-mile runs will be chip-timed by Run Nebraska, with awards for the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top 2 finishers in each of the following age groups:
Grade School (K-5th)
Middle School (6th-8th)
High School (9th-12th)
Ages 18-29
Ages 30-39
Ages 40-49
Ages 50-59
60+
In addition to awards, the top male and female in the 5-mile race will each win $100! Results will be emailed to all of those who've provided an email address at the time of registration, and can also be found online at www.itsyourrace.com.
Race Deadlines/Fees (includes price of shirt)
Participants must register by the following dates to lock-in a specific price or guarantee a shirt:
Through November 11th: $35 (t-shirt guaranteed)
November 11th-26th: $35 (t-shirt not guaranteed)
November 26th through day of race: $45 (race only; no shirt)
Walkers: $20 (t-shirt guranteed if registered by November 11th)
