Fire & Ice Festival "A Weekend for the Books" - Town of Ocean View Happenings

The Town of Ocean View is hosting a number of fun festival activities at  throughout the entire weekend. John West Park is at the heart of the festival and will offer family activities, beer garden, food trucks, ice sculptures, live ice carving demonstrations by The Ice God, live music and more!

Info Tent & Tasting Tour Ticket Pickup

The Tasting Tour kicks off with participating restaurants in the Quiet Resorts offering their signature Fire & Ice themed cocktail. Tasting Tour tickets will be honored all festival weekend! Click Here for ticket information.

11:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Ice Sculpture Walking Tour

New this year! Daytime ice reveal will take place at 12pm on Saturday in John West Park. Pick up a festival map at the information tent to make sure you see them all! There is over 60,000 pounds of ice coming to The Quiet Resorts, all masterfully crafted by the artists from The Ice God! Watch as the ice sculptures are unveiled and illuminated with lights as the sun sets!

11:00 AM: Live Ice Carving Demonstration

Watch as six blocks weighing 300 pounds each are transformed by the incredibly talented artists of The Ice God. Sponsored by the Town of Ocean View. Live carving demonstrations are some of the most popular features of the entire festival. You won't want to miss it!

11AM - 2PM: Pony Rides

Sponsored by True North, head to the walking path in John West Park for complimentary pony rides provided by Saddle Up Stables.

11AM - 4PM: Food Trucks and Beer Garden

Back by popular demand, the 900 square foot inflatable pub will return to John West Park's Beer Garden, sponsored by Beach Liquors! Enjoy a refreshment and some delicious eats from some of your favorite local food trucks while you kick off your festival weekend in Ocean View. Proceeds from the Beer Garden will benefit Beebe Healthcare South Coastal Emergency Center.

12:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Beer Garden Tastings

Sponsored by Beach Liquors at the Inflatable Beer Garden, stop by for tastings featuring Dewey Beer Co.

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Live Music: Pistol Whipped

Sponsored by the Town of Ocean View, enjoy live performances from the band, Pistol Whipped, by the Beer Garden.

11:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Historic Village in Ocean View

Stop by the Historic Village in Ocean View for free tours and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate!
