Join a ranger in a hike along our Legacy Trail and learn about the people who built the park!

This guided hike along the Legacy Trail will take you back to the past and tell you the story of what brought the men of the CCC to Abilene, and why and how they built the park. This hike is for all ages. We will meet at the Legacy Trail trailhead near the south day-use restroom.

Difficulty: Easy

Length: .6 miles, we will hike along the trail and turn back to reach where we started.

Bring: Water, close-toed shoes

Cost: Free with park admission. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online!

You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event; be sure you have a day pass purchased for all who attend the event.
